Madam, - I am grateful to Margaret Martin of Women's Aid (July 19th)for confirming her "clear" disapproval of calling "nasty behaviour/conflict" domestic violence, though no one would condone such behaviour.
Parental Equality can now inform the many men who have been barred from their homes (and often consequently cut off from their children) as a result of allegations of precisely such "nasty behaviour/conflict" that Women's Aid have confirmed that this is not domestic violence.
If only the family courts were not so secretive, there might be more balance and commonsense solutions to relationship difficulties. - Yours, etc,
