Madam, - Recently I was enjoying a cup of coffee and cigarette in a local coffee shop when I was joined at my table by an elderly lady. She explained that she lived on her own and sometimes felt like a chat. "Even though I don't smoke myself, I like to sit by people who do," she said. "Smokers are much friendlier."
