Madam, - Laurence Lacey (August 23rd) raises the issue of fairness and favouritism within the Catholic Church. It appears that when it comes to planning funeral services, some bereaved people are more equal than others. It would be better if the famous and the not-so-famous were given similar flexibility when arranging liturgies. - Yours, etc,
