Sir, – The report on the amounts being spent on “family hubs” (“Over €16m spent renovating 10 homeless family hubs”, Home News, August 15th), demonstrates the Government’s determination not to provide accessible homes in which citizens can live with a modicum of privacy and dignity – and where children can flourish – and confirms the view that ideology always paves the way towards atrocity. – Yours, etc,
