Sir, - I recently read that Ireland offers tax free status for artists and authors living there. I can understand giving this exemption to someone who is struggling, in order to promote creativity in the arts. But how does the Irish Government justify this special treatment for wealthy rock stars and authors, for example - some not even born in Ireland?
