Madam, – I suppose we should be relieved that our politicians have at last decided to put their often considerable differences aside in the name of the greater common good. Maybe it’s me, but I thought their relentless calls for resignations at Fás over the appalling expenses incurred there signalled a new intention on their part to weed out those responsible for the needless waste that blighted the boom years.
