Sir, - Victoria White's Front/ Row column of June 17th marked the publication of Project Press's new book Anne Tallentire under the heading "English, please".
The book was funded by the Arts Council of England under its Artist's First-Time Publication Grant. The British Council supported the launch of the publication. It appears that the two organisations have been amalgamated into one hybrid in Ms White's note of appreciation for Project Arts Centre's achievement in the securing of essential funding for the book from the "British Arts Council".
I would be remiss in my responsibilities if I did not take a moment to register this slip.
The word "it" was lost in the transcription of the following sentence quoted from my introduction: "This publication is, in the first instance, offered to Anne Tallentire and that it has been the privilege of Project Arts Centre to publish this book should be considered a given."
