A chara, – One wonders about the effectiveness of the ubiquitous message included at the end of emails: “Please consider the environment before you print this mail”.

Messages with subliminal “holier than thou” undertones makes the environmentalist movement seem a bit like an extreme religion because there is an element of proselytisation to them – especially when most emails are rarely printed.

Engaging people with meaningful debate and discussion is surely a better way to go. – Is Mise,
