Madam, – If Sean Dunne’s revised plans for his seven-acre site in Ballsbridge were to include a state-of -the-art halting site,a drop-in centre for down-and-outs, and a few hundred social and affordable apartments, would such an altruistic gesture receive the imprimatur of Dublin City Council?
One would imagine so; and I feel sure the well-heeled residents of this most salubrious part of Dublin 4 would welcome such a public-spirited development with open arms. – Yours, etc,
