Sir, - I am amused by the recent correspondence you have received regarding Ryanair and its advertising map of European routes, and its charges for in flight drinks. Ryanair makes no secret of the fact that it is "no frills" airline which offers some of the lowest fares in Europe.
This very successful Irish company has been brave enough to take on the Big Boys and its price war strategy has greatly benefited us, the consumers, and the Irish tourist trade in general. Remember, Ryanair is not in the cartography or drinks business, but instead is more focused on its core competencies.
