Sir, - Tony Moriarty (May 12th) is either naive or disingenuous. Nobody has prevented the Orange Order from marching down Dawson Street. The members of the Order decided themselves to postpone the march.
They claim to have suffered intimidation, but no details of such alleged behaviour have been proffered. I believe that the complete indifference of the people of the Republic of Ireland to the planned march was the real problem for the Orange Order. There is no fun in marching if nobody gives a damn. - Yours, etc.,
