Sir, - It ill behoved The Irish Times to publish a letter headed "Deaths of Homeless Teenagers" (September 3rd) when, on the previous day, the paper acknowledged on its front page that the victims of the fire tragedy were neither "homeless" nor "sleeping rough".
Those close to the teenagers who died in the fire have been hurt by the ill-informed and insensitive reports that emanated from RTE and the national press in the days after the event. Family and friends caught in the maelstrom of this tragedy deserve more consideration. - Yours, etc.,
