Sir, Michael McGuire (May 29th) asks why the chairman of the Dail is the "Ceann Comhairle" while the chairman of the Seanad is the "Cathaoirleach".
In Article 14.2.1 of the Constitution, the chairman of Dail Eireann, in addition to being described as "Cathaoirleach" is also described as "An Ceann Comhairle".
