Broadband – lost in ‘the system’

Sir, – I applied to join a well-known broadband provider in early December. After a month, its office finally acknowledged that my application was lost in “the system”. It was suggested that I start over again with a renewed application. That immediately done, and another month later, I have now been informed that this second application too has vanished like a politician’s promises. Could this supreme incompetence be described as a case of hot air? – Yours, etc,
