A chara, – I went to the Bank of Ireland in Ballybofey, Co Donegal, last week to pay a Bank of Ireland Mastercard bill. I handed same to a human being at the counter, who explained that she could not take this from me. However, I could withdraw the cash through her and go the machine at the end of the counter and it would handle the transaction. Maybe the next time I visit, the woman at the counter will be gone or maybe the bank itself will be gone! Is mise, –
