Madam, - Somebody should inform the ASTI that it lost the recent protracted industrial dispute. Its behaviour since its own members voted to accept the Government's settlement terms has been puerile and smacks of an unwillingness to come to terms with the realities of the situation.
It is as if some teachers are fighting a rearguard action in the hope of reigniting this lost cause. - Yours, etc.,
