A chara, - Information is sought from anyone who may have played on, or have knowledge relating to the Guinness Real Tennis Court at Earlsfort Terrace, Dublin, which formed part of the Guinness bequest to the Irish nation in 1940. The building, which is panelled internally in black Kilkenny limestone, may be better known to generations of UCD scholars as a gymnasium, and latterly an engineering laboratory.
Persons interested in the game of Real Tennis, or promoting the cause of restoring the court to its original purpose, are invited to contact.
