Madam, - Anew McMaster managed a travelling theatre company, one of the fit-ups, from 1925 to 1959. During that period he and his company visited an untold number of Irish towns, staging a variety of shows with a particular emphasis on Shakespeare.
The Archive Production Unit in RTÉ is putting together a documentary on the life and work of Anew McMaster and would be interested in hearing from anyone who has any film or video images of McMaster, particularly in an acting role, as there is very little footage of him in the RTÉ archives.
