A chara, – The common practice where a child is charged the same price as an adult to visit a general practitioner is surely grossly unjust.

A child has no earning ability and while it may be possible for an adult to decide that their ailment does not require a visit to the GP, it isn’t always possible for children, who may not even be able to communicate what is wrong with them.

Considering that it is possible to bring a child under two on a Ryanair flight for free, one would think that GPs could make some sort of an allowance for children. – Is mise,
