Madam, - A report by Patsy McGarry in your edition of July 23rd, quoting Ms Christine Buckley, relays an inaccuracy in relation to the Alliance committee and myself in particular.
The Alliance did not discuss any details of child abuse with the Irish Catholic or at any meetings in the National Office for Victim of Abuse. We were not asked to produce any documents relating to child abuse nor was the Alliance committee removed from the National Office as a result of any failures in that respect. The Alliance committee is happy to furnish minutes of National Office meetings to your correspondent if it would be helpful. - Yours, etc.,
