Madam, – In her column (“Drip feed of IRA toxic waste will not go away”, January 7th), Fionnuala O Connor describes my family as “dysfunctional”.
My brother, Liam, does face charges, and my father was an abuser who caused great hurt.
That does not make my family dysfunctional. Neither does the abuse suffered by us have anything to do with the IRA. Unless the writer is being snide and gratuitously offensive. – Yours, etc,
