Sir, – Congratulations on the “All-Ireland Football Final” sports supplement of September 17th.
However, it is unfortunate that there was no photo of the 1892 Dublin team which defeated Kerry, members of which included both my wife’s grandfather Richard Curtis and that of the well-known balladeer Luke Kelly.
I am sure there must be a photo in existence, as pen drawings of the team appeared on the centenary programme and these must have originated from a photo.
Perhaps some of your readers can throw some light on this. – Yours, etc,
