An article in the edition of November 5th, concerning the Leader rural development programme, gave an incorrect figure for the allocation to the Co Wicklow Partnership. The correct figure is €11.14 million.

President Mary McAleese will give the Irish Human Rights Commission's third annual lecture in the National Gallery of Ireland on Tuesday, November 25th. An incorrect date was given in yesterday's edition.

The obituary of Sir John Hermon, former chief constable of the Royal Ulster Constabulary, in Saturday's edition neglected to mention that he was survived by two children, Barbara and Rodney, from his first marriage to the late Lady Jean Hermon.
