An article in last Tuesday's edition, concerning closure orders by the HSE, said that a closure order had been served on Castle Dargan Hotel (main kitchen and ancillary facilities) in Ballygawley, Co. Sligo.
Noel Conlon, general manager of Castle Dargan, has pointed out that the closure order involved the partial closure of one kitchen for one day and that Castle Dargan was not closed for business at any stage.

Contrary to a report in last Monday's edition, the UK Independence Party says that its leader, Nigel Farage, was not accredited by the "Farmers for No" grouping and also points out that it did not send a leaflet to every Irish home urging a No vote in order to close an "open door to immigrants".
