An article in the edition of May 19th, concerning court proceedings over the sale of a site in Sligo, was illustrated by a photograph of former EU commissioner Ray MacSharry. The caption accompanying the photograph was in error.
It said that a case had been taken by three investors against Mr MacSharry and six others.
In fact, no action has been taken against Mr MacSharry and the others. Rather, one of the defendants has joined Mr MacSharry and the others as a third party. The error is regretted.
