An article in last Monday’s edition, which discussed Hitler’s invasion plans for Ireland, incorrectly referred to the Irish Free State which ceased to exist in 1937. The article also referred to the Local Defence Force (LDF) in the summer of 1940. The LDF was formed on January 1st 1941. The errors occurred in the editing process.
