An article in last Tuesday’s edition, concerning 50 years of Irish television, stated wrongly that three RTÉ editorial executives and the reporter Aoife Kavanagh were suspended over the Fr Kevin Reynolds libel.
In fact, Ed Mulhall and Ken O’Shea both decided themselves to step down from their roles. Brian Páircéir and Ms Kavanagh are not involved in any on-air programming for the duration of the inquiry by the Broadcasting Authority of Ireland’s compliance committee.
A review of A Thorn in the Flesh: Selected Poems by Eddie Linden, in the edition of December 24th, wrongly stated the foreword was written by Patrick Campbell. It was written by James Campbell.
