A report on the Galway Arts Festival opening in yesterday’s edition referred to work by artist Hughie O’Donoghue in the visual arts section. Mr O’Donoghue opened the visual arts element. The error occurred in the editing process.
In an article in yesterday’s HEALTHplus supplement, concerning organ donation and transplants, Philip Watt, chief executive of the Cystic Fibrosis Association of Ireland, said that the transplant programme at the Mater hospital had a high success rate. Mr Watt would like to point out that the number of double lung transplants undertaken for cystic fibrosis patients has been very inadequate.
