A report in Tuesday's editions, headed "Four groups seek religious broadcasts licence", said the telephone number given for one of the groups, People into God, was that of a pensioner who had not heard of the group and did not know anybody by the contact name supplied. In fact, the telephone number provided to us was incorrect.

People into God plans "a high-energy youth culture station" according to its proposed chief executive, Mr Dave Heffernan. It will broadcast 24 hours a day with lots of "contemporary Christian music" and "short, sharp, cringe-free God slots". Funding will be by donation, sponsorship and advertising. The group chairman is Mr Andrew Hunter of the Accenture consultancy, with directors from various denominational backgrounds.
