Tirana - The NATO Secretary-General, Mr Javier Solana, has told Albania the alliance would view with "utmost seriousness" any attack on it by neighbouring Yugoslavia, according to a letter made public yesterday.
In a letter to the Albanian Prime Minister, Mr Pandeli Majko, soon after he directed NATO's military commander to start air operations against Yugoslavia, Mr Solana said Albania's security was of "direct and material concern to the Alliance".
