Three days after appearing before a court on charges arising out of a serious fight, a 15year-old boy used a knife in an attack and severely injured his victim, Ballincollig Court in Co Cork was told yesterday.
The teenage defendant inflicted severe ear, hand, groin and neck wounds on his victim after accosting him in Ballincollig on June 15th and throwing a stone through his car window, the court heard.
Sgt Tim Bowe said the attack took place just three days after the defendant appeared before Ballincollig Court as a result of an incident in the town on November 10th last during which he threw a hammer at the Garda patrol car when they went to break up a fight.
