A 16-year-old youth was attacked by three men in the grounds of St Gerard's Church on Belfast's Antrim Road on Friday evening. The victim was struck on the head before having his arms slashed with a knife.

Meanwhile, a 29-year-old man was taken from his Bangor home at 2 a.m. on Sunday and beaten with a baseball bat by two men.

The RUC is investigating a shooting in Craigavon, Co Armagh, which happened early on Saturday. A masked man fired a shot through a bedroom window but did not hit any of the occupants.
