The issues of world hunger and genetic engineering are to be considered at a public meeting later today in University College Cork. The "Harvesting Hunger" debate is being staged by the International Famine Centre (IFC), Trocaire and Comhlamh at the Boole Theatre One (at 7.30 p.m.) to mark World Food Day tomorrow.
