Two women remained critically ill at Tallaght Hospital in Dublin last night following a car crash on Tuesday night. The two were among six people in their 20s in a 1989 Toyota Carina which skidded and crashed at around 11.40 p.m. on the Blessington Road near the Blue Gardenia pub.
The male driver of the car and three women passengers were seriously injured, the Garda said. The man and one of the women were taken off the critical list by nightfall, a hospital spokeswoman said.
