A woman who was injured in a collision involving a stolen car in Dublin yesterday is still seriously ill in hospital.

A woman who was injured in a collision involving a stolen car in Dublin yesterday is still seriously ill in hospital.

Gardaí are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash that also claimed the life of a 22-year-old man in Fairview yesterday morning.

The incident took place shortly after 8am when the stolen Honda Civic, travelling towards the city centre, lost control at Annesley Bridge. Three female passengers were taken to Beaumont Hospital.

It is understood the car was stolen from the city centre overnight on Friday night.
