A woman in her 60s has been killed in a single vehicle road crash in Co Cavan.
The incident occurred on the N3 at Aghalane, Belturbet yesterday evening at 7.30pm.
The woman fatally injured when her own car rolled forward and struck her after she has come to a stop at the side of the road and walked to the front of her car.
She was pronounced dead at the scene. There were no other vehicles involved. A female passenger in the same car was uninjured.

Gardaí closed this section of road and expect diversions to be in place overnight. Garda Forensic Collision Investigators are expected at the scene today.
