A woman in her 20s was arrested yesterday after a hand gun and a quantity of ammunition were recovered during a search of a house in north Dublin.
The woman was arrested following a search of the house in Barnmore Crescent in Finglas.
The woman is being held at Finglas Garda Station under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act, 1939, where she can be held for up to 72 hours.
