A woman (92) has died in a house fire in Co Kilkenny.
The fire occurred at approximately 6.15pm at a house at Stoneyford. The victim was removed from the house and taken to St Luke's Hospital where she was pronounced dead at 6.45pm.
She is believed to have been alone in the house when the fire occurred.
Gardai said the scene had been preserved and a technical examination will take place tomorrow and that there was no suspicion of foul play.
