Gardai were last night attempting to identify a female cyclist killed in a road accident in central Dublin. The woman, believed to be in her late twenties or early thirties, was struck by a truck at the junction between O'Connell Bridge and Aston Quay shortly before 5 p.m. She died at the scene.
