A 60-year-old woman was killed when a car struck her as she crossed the road at Tullig, Killorglin, Co Kerry shortly after 5.20 p.m.
yesterday. Garda∅ have appealed for witnesses to the accident. The woman, a local, was leading a cow into a field when she was hit.
