Gardaí are investigating the death of a woman who was found shot dead in Dublin early this morning.
A Garda spokeswoman said the 32-year-old was found on Windmill Road in Crumlin at 2.50 a.m. It is believed she had been shot in the face and a small calibre revolver was found near the body.
However, the precise cause of death will not be revealed until after post mortem takes place.
The area has been sealed off for Garda technical examination.
