A 26-year-old woman has died in a traffic accident in Co Cork.
The pedestrian was killed on the Ballyhooley road shortly after midnight.
Her name has not yet been released.
And gardai have not yet released the name of the 23-year-old man who was killed in a climbing accident in Co Kerry yesterday.

The man died in a fall on Carrantouhill, in the Macgillcuddy's Reeks.
Two other people were rescued by a Marine rescue helicopter which had been scrambled to the area from Shannon.
