Gardaí in south Dublin are appealing for witnesses to a crash on the N11 in which a man died yesterday.
The incident occurred at about 12.50pm when a car collided with an ambulance at the junction of Johnstown Road and the N11.
A man in his late 70s was injured and brought to Loughlinstown Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
A passenger in the ambulance and the driver of the car were also treated for minor injuries.
