Mr Patrick Landers (21) (above) has won this year's Irish Times Prize in Media Law. From Whitechurch, Co Cork, Mr Landers recently graduated from University College Galway with a double first-class honours degree in law and economics. Now reading for his LlB degree, he is auditor of the Law Society at UCG and hopes to be involved in the publication of the Galway student Law Review.
Last year's winner, Ms Claire Croke, from Shannon, Co Clare, has taken up a place on the LlM programme at Yale in the US.
