Dublin

Dublin

Grand Canal Quay will be closed until May 19th for roadworks. Traffic is being diverted via Barrow Street or Macken Street. Liffey Street Lower is closed until June 8th from Middle Abbey Street to Lotts for drainage works. Sean Heuston Bridge will be closed until next April for Luas works. Traffic is being diverted via Wolfe Tone Quay, Sarsfield Quay, Rory O'More Bridge and Victoria Quay.

South King Street will be closed until June 1st for the construction of a pedestrian plateau. Traffic approaching from St Stephen's Green West is being diverted via York Street, Mercer Street Lower, Noel Purcell Walk, Digges Lane and Stephen Street Lower.

The Howth Road will be closed today from 11 a.m. until 8 a.m. tomorrow, and from 11 p.m. tomorrow until 10 a.m. on Sunday to allow repairs to the railway bridge. Northbound traffic will be diverted via Fairview, Malahide Road and Collins Avenue East. Southbound traffic will be diverted via Collins Avenue East and Malahide Road.

Cork

Roadworks are in place on Merchants Quay. Traffic is reduced to two lanes. The Conna-Rathcormac road is closed to traffic for the next four weeks between Conna and O'Leary's Cross.

Waterford

New Street will be closed for roadworks, with diversions until Wednesday, May 16th. Work continues from Patrick Street heading on to Arundel Square.

Limerick

Clancy Strand is down to one lane until July.

Galway

A new traffic system is operating on the Salthill promenade until May 31st. One-way traffic only is allowed on the Upper Salthill Road on the seafront between Threadneedle Road and Dalysfort Road. Pipe-laying works are operating on the Caherwalter/Dublin Road in Loughrea until July 13th. Roadworks and temporary lights are in place on the Galway-Tuam road (N17).

Mayo

Roadworks will be in place until June 16th on the N17 Knock to Claremorris Bypass at Barnacarroll.

Kildare

A diversion at Naas will be in place until May 21st: traffic approaching Naas from Rathangan take a right at Floods Cross, then the next left, which will take them back onto the roundabout for Naas.

Westmeath

Roadworks until the end of June on the N4 at the Longford end of the Mullingar bypass.

Kilkenny

Construction work continues on the Pilltown-Fiddown bypass on the N24 between Waterford and Carrick-on-Suir.

Wicklow

The R756 Wicklow Gap road will be closed from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. to facilitate filming and from Monday to Friday next week for the same period.

Tipperary

Traffic is reduced to a single lane and temporary lights are in place at Inane on the N7 - on the Nenagh side of Roscrea - until the end of June.
