The rugby international (Ireland v Barbarians) at Lansdowne Road kicks off at 1.15 p.m on Sunday. Motorists are advised to avoid the area both before and directly after the match. Road widening near the Palmerstown and Naas Road exits will affect all southbound traffic on the M50. Motorists using the Lucan exit should allow plenty of time as concrete bollards have been erected. The North Clondalkin QBC will affect traffic along Cornmarket/Lamb Alley, Thomas Street, James's Street/ Sarsfield Road/Ballyfermot Road, Grattan Crescent, Meath Street and Francis Street. Work on the South Clondalkin QBC is affecting Werburgh Street, Nicholas Street, Patrick Street, Bride Street, Crumlin Road and Drimnagh Road. Andrew Street will be closed from Church Lane to Trinity Street. The junction of Bedford Row, Fleet Street, Anglesea Street and Temple Bar will be closed.

Kildare:

The village of Johnstown closed to through traffic. An alternative route is the N7 through Naas.

Laois: Delays on the Borris Road in Portlaoise due to pipe-laying work.

Limerick:

Howley's Quay, Harvey's Quay and Honan's Quay will be closed to northbound traffic. The Greenfields Road will be closed between the Ballinacurra Gardens and the Roundwood Estate to the junction with the level crossing.

Cork:

Sunday's Munster Senior Hurling Championship game (Waterford v Tipperary) at Pairc Ui Chaoimh starts at 3.30 p.m. Motorists are advised to avoid the stadium vicinity both before and immediately after the match. Coach Street is closed between Henry Street and Sheares Street. Andersons Street is closed and traffic on Andersons Quay has been reversed to flow from Michael Collins Bridge and Brian Boru Bridge. Millerds Street is closed between Francis Street and Henry Street. There are temporary lights in place on the N20 between Cork and Limerick in the village of Ballyhea.

Aer Rianta:

In excess of 170,000 passengers are expected to pass through Dublin Airport this weekend. Passengers are advised to allow sufficient time to comply with security and check-in regulations.

Iarnrod Eireann:

The following Sunday only trains will cease to operate: 12.45 Heuston/ Limerick; 17.20 Limerick/ Heuston; 15.45 Westport/ Heuston; 18.25 Cork/Heuston; 19.07 Mullingar/Connolly; 17.22 Sligo/Connolly. Additional trains to operate from Monday: 7.05 Rosslare Europort/Limerick; 10.10 Limerick-Waterford. FERRIES: Stena Line is to carry 5,000 Munster supporters to tomorrow's European Cup Final at Twickenham on its Dublin/ Dun Laoghaire and Rosslare/ Fishguard routes.
