Dublin
From now until April 31st there will be work every day from Linden Grove Avenue to Stillorgan Park, between 9.30 a.m. and 4.30 p.m. Roadworks will continue until February 20th on Sweetmount Avenue Drive, The Laurels and Sweetmount Park.
Chancery Lane will be closed at the junction of Werburgh Street until February 8th. Works will continue on the Swords Road, Dorset Street, Gardiner Street, Frederick Street North and Parnell Street.
Roadworks continue on the M50 at the Lucan exit. A concrete bollard is erected to stop motorists exiting at the last minute. Stocking Lane in Rathfarnham will be closed until April 30th. The advised alternative route is via the Edmonstown Road and the Mount Venus Road.
Restrictions will be in place on Church Street, North King Street, Lower Dorset Street, Parkgate Street and St Pappins Road until April 24th due to ESB cable-laying. There will be drainage work at various locations on O'Connell Street, Princes Street, North Cathedral Street, and North Earl Street. As a result, traffic on O'Connell Street will be reduced to two lanes northbound by day and two lanes southbound by night.
Roadworks continue on Charlemont Street, in Ranelagh village, Ranelagh Road, Sandford Road and Clonskeagh Road.
Meath
Major roadworks and speed ramps in place on the N4 between Enfield and Kilcock.
Kildare
Traffic is single lane with temporary lights in Prosperous village. Major delays expected. Roadworks and temporary lights will be in place on the N78 AthyKilcullen road at Ballyshannon. There will be roadworks on the N7 through Monasterevin from Monday, resulting in one-way traffic. Diversions on the Portlaoise side.
Carlow
Major roadworks are in place one mile north of Carlow at the junction of the N80 Portlaoise road and the N9 Dublin road. Major delays expected.
Laois
Roadworks continue on the N8 in Abbeyleix resulting in one-lane traffic during the week and two-lane at weekends.
Limerick
Howleys Quay, Harvey Quay and Honans Quay will be closed to northbound traffic until June.
Major roadworks are in place in Adare. Diversions and major disruptions for Kerry-bound traffic.
Kilkenny
Roadworks are in place on the N8 Cork-Dublin road at Johnstown until the end of March. Roadworks ongoing on the N24 Limerick-Waterford road at Greenside, Carrick-on-Suir.
Cork
Major delays expected on Thomas Davis Street, Blackpool, due to trench excavations. Motorists are asked to avoid the route. Summerhill North remains closed to inbound traffic due to the Cork Drainage Scheme. Citybound traffic should divert via Wellington Road. Major disruption expected around Wellington Street and St Luke's Cross. The following roads are also undergoing Cork Drainage Scheme works: Moore Street, closed until February 12th; Millard Street, closed until tomorrow; both O'Connell Street and Castlegraine/Castlegraine Park junction closed until February 12th; access to Kennedy Quay is via the Mill Road only until November.
The marina will be closed at its entrance to Pairc Ui Chaoimh as far as Church Avenue. Travelling from Blackrock to the city centre go via the Blackrock Road.
Waterford
Main drainage scheme work resumes on the N25 at the Quay, opposite Gladstone Street. Traffic will be restricted and the Quay should be avoided.
