Dublin

Work on the QBC for north Clondalkin will affect Werburgh Street, Lord Edward Street, Thomas Street, James's Street, Meath Street, Francis Street. All disruptive works confined to off-peak periods. Work on a QBC road crossing of Cornmarket at the Francis Street junction will be undertaken on Sunday at 9 a.m.

Milltown Road at St Anne's School reduced to one lane. Lane closures heading south on the N11 at Foxrock Church for the next four weeks. Grange Road between Stonemason's Way and Ballinteer Avenue will be closed. Work on bus lane on Charlemont Street, between Harcourt Street and the Grand Canal, is under way.

On part of Amiens Street traffic is reduced to one lane in both directions tomorrow and Sunday. North Wall Quay at Castleforbes Road will be closed due to road subsidence. Liffey Street Upper will be closed until the last week in November for repaving. There will be full pedestrian access.

Roadworks at Liffey Bridge in Celbridge and in Ashbourne village on the N2 between Balrath Cross and Rathfeigh Cross.

Limerick

Roadworks at Kilmallock town on Lord Edward Street, between Emmet Street and Wolfe Tone Street to junction of Courthouse. Diversions are in place. Roadworks continue on main road through Adare.

Carlow

Single lane on N9 Leighlinbridge by-pass between Leighlinbridge and Royal Oak. Dublin-Waterford please use N78 via Athy and Castlecomer instead. N80 roadworks in place.

Aer Rianta

Passenger numbers through Dublin Airport this weekend expected to exceed 155,000. Allow sufficient time to comply with check-in regulations.

Iarnrod Eireann

Seats on Friday-evening and Saturday-morning train services from Dublin to Cork for the October bank holiday weekend (October 22nd-23rd) are reservable. A £2 charge will apply from today.

Road Deaths

There were nine road deaths in the past week. This brings to 17 the number killed since the beginning of October and to 337 the number killed on Irish roads this year.
