Dublin

Dublin: Duct-laying will take place on Charlemont Street for the rest of the week.

Work will take place on Upper Drumcondra Road and Home Farm Road.

Clonskeagh Road will be reduced to one lane between Eglington Road and the bridge over the Dodder. This work is to continue for seven weeks. Work on Eglington Road from Clonskeagh Road to Brookdale Road will continue until July 2nd.

York Street, between Mercer Street and St Stephen's Green West, will be closed until September 27th for road reconstruction.

Severe delays are expected on Stradbrook Road, Blackrock, due to cabling work on the Blackrock bypass on week nights after 7 p.m. Drivers should use the Stillorgan Road going south.

Clonliffe Avenue is closed until early July.

Leeson Street Upper and Lower will have work on quality bus corridor outside peak hours.

Stocking Lane in Rathfarnham will be closed at the interface with the proposed route on the Southern Cross Motorway. An alternative route is advised via Edmonstown Road and Mount Venus Road. Cablelink will be laying ducts over the next month on Rathfarnham Road, Harold's Cross Road, Kimmage Road Lower and Kimmage Road Lower-West.

Blanchardstown Road North is closed from the junction with Ballycoolin Crossroads until August 15th.

Work will be carried out on Dorset Street Lower at the North Circular Road junction. Work will also take place on the North Circular Road near St Peter's Church.

Esat is conducting work on Fownes Street Lower, Beresford Place, Cecilia Street and Dame Street.

Westmeath

The new N4-N6 link-road is open in Kinnegad.

Resurfacing work continues on the N4, east of Rathowen village. LAOIS Resurfacing work takes place in Abbeyleix until the end of November.

Louth

Work is continuing on the N2 north of Ardee until July.

Kildare:

Road works on Main Street in Killcullen continue until mid-July.

Cork

The Jack Lynch Tunnel has been opened to traffic, completing the city's Ring Road. Robert Street is closed for four weeks to facilitate sewer-laying on St Patrick's Street.

Construction work on a bridge continues at Lancaster Quay for the next couple of months. Neither traffic nor parking is permitted on the right-hand side between the junctions with Little Hanover Street and Woods Street.

Bachelor's Quay is closed between Devonshire West and Henry Street as part of the Cork Main Drainage Scheme. No parking is permitted on Morrison's Quay from Trinity Bridge to the junction with Catherine Street due to building work.

Limerick

Delays are expected on the N69 from the Askeaton bypass to Kilcornan due to road works.

The Abbey Bridge on the Northern Relief Road is now open.

Offaly

Temporary traffic lights are in operation on the N7 at Dunkerrin on the Cork side of Roscrea. This work continues for nine weeks.

Leitrim

Realignment work continues on the N16 Sligo-Enniskillen road about four miles west of Manorhamilton. Major work continues on the N4, south of Carrick-on-Shannon, until July.

Derry

Roadworks on the A2 Strand Road at Meadowbank continue until July 12th.

Donegal

Temporary traffic lights are in operation on the N15 just north of Donegal Town due to the construction of the Donegal bypass. Roadworks on the Sligo side of Donegal Town are also continuing.

Monaghan

Roadworks take place at Coolkeel East on the N2 north of Monaghan for the next week.

Co Down

Reconstruction work under the Motorway Bridge on the Bally hinch Road in Lisburn continues.

Belfast

Bus lane contra-flows continue in the Corporation Street area until the end of August.

Diversions on Ribble Street, from Newtownards to Tamar Street, continue until the end of the year.

Other Travel Information

Refurbishment work at Connolly Station in Dublin continues.

Dublin-Sligo rail services from Monday morning to Friday afternoon are subject to change due to work on the railway.

The Isle of Man ferry and the Super Seacat to Liverpool both leave Dublin Port from a new location, Ferry Terminal 5, located south of the Liffey at Pigeonhouse Road.

At Dublin Airport, passenger volumes are expected to exceed 160,000 this weekend. Some congestion on airport access roads is likely.
