A Waterford man who is charged with drugs offences at a house party in the city 10 days ago has again been remanded on bail to appear in court tomorrow.
Anthony Connolly (25), with an address at Priory Lawn, Ballybeg, is charged with the unlawful possession of cocaine and amphetamines and with possessing the narcotics for sale or supply.
The alleged offences took place at a house in Ballybeg Square during the early hours of Sunday, November 25th.
Mr Connolly was arrested last week and charged at Waterford District Court, where Judge William Harnett remanded him in custody with consent to bail.
He was subsequently released having discharged the bail terms, which required him to surrender his passport, sign on three times a week at Waterford Garda station, secure an independent surety of €4,000 and pay €400 to the court as a bond.
Yesterday Mr Connolly appeared before Judge Harnett at Kilkenny District Court and was remanded on continuing bail under the same terms and ordered to appear again tomorrow at Waterford District Court.
Gardaí told Judge Harnett that their investigation was "ongoing".
